The Panchen Lama- Tashi Lhunpo project seeks to help fulfill the wishes of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama to improve the monastery of Tashi Lhunpo in exile, in honour of the Panchen Lama. Khen Rinpoche Kachen Lobzang Tsetan appointed Abbot is asked to enlarge the assembly hall, increase the number of monks to 1,500 and protect and preserve the traditions of Tashi Lhunpo, in Bylakuppe, India for all Tibetans and others interested in Tibetan Buddhism, teachings, culture and people.

Capital Campaign
•$2,000,000 to $2,700,000 for needed expansion and improvements.
•Priority: $1,200,000 still needed for Assembly/ Prayer Hall. The Dalai Lama has pledged half.
•Purchase of 12 acres plot to permit new construction–FUNDED
•Construction of all-weather Debate Courtyard for debate and study–FUNDED
•Purchase of adjacent land and conversion to agricultural, income-producing use.
Endowment Campaign
Provide funds
to support the living, learning, and teaching expenses of monks in perpetuity. Donations will be invested to provide permanent support for monks.
Annual Giving
$330 per year
is needed to provide food and basic necessities for a single monk's sustenance. This need will continue until all monks are covered by the endowment plan.
